I’m thrilled to be running for UCL Neurology & Neurosurgery Chair for the 2025/26 academic year. With a strong background in leadership, research, & event organisation, I’ve gained invaluable experience, positioning me well for this role. As Operations Lead for INNC 2025, I developed skills in large-scale event planning & cross-functional team management. My research work in computational neurology during my intercalated BSc has deepened my understanding of both the scientific & clinical aspects of neurology & neurosurgery, inspiring me to create more opportunities for students to engage in research in these fields. Additionally, my role as Preclinical Education Lead for RUMS Badminton has fuelled my passion for teaching & equipped me to create interactive content that promotes deeper understanding.

My key goals:

  • INNC 2026: Build on INNC 2025’s success by increasing student participation & networking, while collaborating with experts to create a diverse & impactful conference.
  • Medicine Teaching Series: Expand the series for both clinical & preclinical students, focusing on interactive learning & small-group case discussions.
  • Mentorship Programme: Launch a mentorship initiative to connect students with doctors in the field, providing career guidance & networking support.

Building on the incredible work of previous committees, I hope to inspire more students to explore neurology & neurosurgery & create more opportunities for hands-on learning, mentorship, & research engagement.
