Surf Club: Media Secretary

I would love to take on the role of Media Sec because I recognise the importance of Surf Club’s online presence in organising events, trips, and socials - especially for new members like myself this year. I found joining  Surf to be incredibly inclusive and accessible, and I hope to have the opportunity to provide the same experience for others! I love film photography (my Instagram speaks for this) and graphic design (I’m a Canva enthusiast) so I’m certain I would really enjoy fulfilling the position of Media Sec. 

I’m standing for media secretary because I love documenting all the trips I go on on my camera and I feel like I could make the social media really fun and attract a lot of people to come be a part of the community. The surf society is a really special group of people and I’d love to be able to document all the fun places we go together. I post quite a lot and I have a bunch of ideas for the upcoming posts to translate the fun atmosphere of the trips into a post.
