Aya Elgool

As salamu alaykum! I'm Aya, and I am running to be your vice president of Sudanese society as I recognise the benefit that being involved in this community has br0ught to me and I would love to help with encouraging others to be a part of it! I also believe this would be a good opportunity for me to develop some skills in leadership, and this would be a great way for me to practice!

Having had experience leading groups of people, from my own charity initiative Sisters4Sudan and also leading groups I am a part of within my local community, I believe this would make me an ideal candidate to be your vice-president. Furthermore, I have been extremely outspoken about everything occurring in Sudan at the moment, and as your vice-president, I will take it upon myself to continue the work of the Sudanese society to spread awareness about the issues affecting our people.

As your vice president, I can promise these things for you:

  • Assisting the President with the committee to create events to cater to different interests e.g: games, fashion etc
  • Representing the society to gain collaborations with other organisations to highlight career prospects
  • Collaborating with other societies to raise awareness about issues affecting our communities

Ultimately I believe that through my participation on the committee as your VP, I can work with the committee to make our society a place of where we can all come together and celebrate our culture!

Vote Aya to be your VP for Sudanese society:)
