 Why bother voting for me? What can I offer? Excellent questions. Keeping things simple, here are 3 reasons I would excel as VP of Street AID:

  1. Leadership experience. I was President of my school's Debating Society, and I currently serve on the committee for UCL Debate. My experience working in, and leading, committees has taught me how to build teams founded on inclusivity, ambition and creativity. I'd love the chance to be part of a new, exciting committee!
  2. A passion for this project. I say 'project' because I think there are incredibly exciting possibilities for this community to grow. The current committee has done such a great job of growing Street Aid, and I want to help fuel their mission to new heights. Whether it's running to raise money for Cancer Research or donating to my local food bank, I try to find ways to help. I think there are 100s of UCL students who think the same, and I want to help Street Aid reach those people!
  3. Communication skills. I know it sounds super pretentious to claim I have 'good communication skills', but hear me out please! I've been a competitive debater for 6 years and have loved public speaking for even longer. I am confident in my ability to engage with people, spread our message and advocate for a cause important to all of us.
