I am running for Treasurer of the Street Aid Society because I am passionate about supporting people experiencing homelessness and ensuring our society has the resources to continue making a meaningful impact. Through my recent involvement in weekly hot drink handouts, I’ve seen firsthand how small acts of kindness—offering food, a warm drink, or simply a conversation—can make a difference in someone’s day. Beyond participating in direct outreach, I also contributed as a volunteer baker in our society’s bake sale, helping raise essential funds to support our initiatives. These experiences have reinforced my commitment to the society’s mission and have given me insight into the importance of fundraising and financial management in sustaining our efforts.

As Treasurer, I would work to ensure transparency in budgeting, explore new fundraising opportunities, and help maximize our impact. I want to support the society in growing its reach, maintaining financial stability, and continuing to provide vital aid to those in need. I would be honored to take on this role and help strengthen the society’s ability to serve our community.
