Chin Siang Yew

To me, UCLSS is a comfortable touchpoint for Singaporeans to feel home away from home 🇸🇬, be it through the company or the activities. As president, I am the driver of the people's wants and needs. I aim to reinforce the spirit and my vision for UCLSS: Enabling Singaporeans to live their fullest London experience

I aim to execute this vision by:

  1. Pioneering a one-stop-shop, a KILUQ website 🌐, for everything UCL/KILUQ/London related to be centralised. Don't fear missing out on ANYTHING again!
  2. Creating a portfolio of guides/recommendations/sites/eateries/activities 🍽️ that are up to date with the best and most recent deals in London/UK. Contributions can come from any member, allowing everyone to share their best ways to live London!
  3. Implementing accessible and anonymous feedback avenues 🤝, through online forms/in-person sessions, allowing my team to channel funds towards events/bargains YOU want and improve future activities.

So why me?

  1. Inward Looking. I take the voices on the ground very seriously. What I hope to spearhead are activities that appeal to your desires, and benefit the majority.
  2. Outwards Facing. I will focus on strengthening bonds with other colleges and societies to gain leverage and procure good bargains, to organise more affordable and exciting activities.
  3. Forward Thinking. Successful events and new initiatives take time to plan and execute. I will streamline processes and improve efficiency to ensure the events planned are both enjoyable and organised.
