Manifesto for Vice President – UCL Sikh Society
I am standing for the role of Vice President because I believe in strengthening our community by honouring our rich heritage and pushing our society to new heights. With deep respect for the standards set by our current committee, my vision is to maintain those cherished values while innovating and expanding our horizons. I have witnessed firsthand the power of our social events to create bonds that last a lifetime—from the bowling socials to the profound unity experienced at our Langar and Kirtan Darbar events. My goal is to not only increase the frequency and diversity of these gatherings but also to ensure they serve as platforms for cultural exchange, personal growth, and community outreach. I pledge to listen and engage with every member, ensuring that our society remains an inclusive, supportive space where traditions are celebrated and new ideas flourish. I am committed to leveraging modern ideas and collaborations to create events that resonate with our contemporary student life while remaining grounded in the core values of Sikhi.

VJKK VJKF,
Having served as president for the past year, I have gained valuable experience and insights into the responsibilities and challenges of leading the committee. This experience has equipped me with the knowledge to provide meaningful guidance and support to the future committee members. As vice president, I aim to take a backseat approach, allowing the new leaders to take charge while offering advice and assistance when needed. My goal is to ensure a smooth transition and continued success for the committee, encouraging growth and collaboration within the team.
Thank you for considering my candidacy.
