School of Slavonic and Eastern European Studies Society (SSEES): Welfare Officer

Hello, I am a second year undergraduate student studying Politics, Sociology and East European Studies. 

I am applying for this position because I am passionate about fostering a supportive and inclusive environment at SSEES. I believe that a strong system of welfare and support is essential for student wellbeing and will work hard to create an environment where students feel heard and supported and are comfortable seeking advice, whether for academic pressures, mental health, or general university life. I love nothing more than a chat in the common room or a pint at the Huntley and will always be there to support my fellow students and committee members. While I knew very little about SSEES when I first started at UCL, it now feels like home for me, and I would love to be able to give back to the friends and community I have found here!! :D
