Being Treasurer is more than just reimbursing committee members.

It requires planning, organisation, coordination, and communication between students, staff, team members, the Student Union and companies in a way that puts the you, the members of our Society first.

If you know me, you know that I can deliver. And if you don’t know me, look back over the events from this past year, and then you will.

If you want another amazing academic year for the School of Pharmacy, this is your chance to make the right decision.

Yoonhee Han

With extensive experience in financial management and fundraising, I am looking forward to supporting the society in maintaining financial sustainability and in expanding its initiatives, through the Treasurer role.

I aim to contribute my substantial experience and insight in securing and managing funding to benefit our society. As a Student Ambassador with a treasurer role at DKMS UK, I managed DKMS funding to organise stem cell donor registration drives and awareness campaigns, ensuring that our recruitment and fundraising efforts were both impactful and cost-effective. Additionally, as the Founder of the Inaugural Blood Drive Initiative at my former school, I secured funding from the Korean Red Cross to launch a large-scale donation event and established a service group that continues to receive financial support. These experiences have strengthened my ability to manage budgets responsibly, collaborate with external organisations, and optimize financial resources to support meaningful projects. Finally, as someone who enjoyed the recent Boat Gala event, as Treasurer, I will ensure that funds are allocated efficiently to support not only academic and professional initiatives but also memorable social events for our student body.

When selected, I will ensure transparent budgeting, effective financial planning for the School Of Pharmacy Society to thrive. I look forward to the opportunity to contribute my skills to the team.
