School of Pharmacy Society: Sports Officer

I think it would be cool to participate in the committee. After experiencing first year, I feel as though I have fresh ideas as to how to positively contribute to the committee. It would also be cool to invite more females into sport and open the scene. It’s always nice to form a community around sport especially in such a content heavy degree like pharmacy. I have a lot of ideas on how to make sports a lot more fun. Additionally, i’d like to encourage people who wouldn’t typically reach to attend sports events. 

I am excited to nominate myself for the role of Sports Officer because I am passionate about promoting an active and inclusive sporting culture within our society. As a former member of the National Sudanese Swimming Team, I have firsthand experience in competitive sports, teamwork, and leadership. I understand the impact of physical activity in improving well-being, build confidence, and strengthening our community.

My goal is to make sports more accessible and enjoyable for everyone, regardless of skill level. I will work to organize engaging events, encourage participation, and create an environment where members feel supported in their athletic pursuits.

With my background in professional sports and my dedication to student engagement, l am confident that I can bring fresh ideas and positive energy to this role. Vote for me, and let's make sports a key part of our society's experience!
