Russian Society: President

Hi everyone 👋🏻
I am excited to announce my candidacy for President of our society in the upcoming year! Though I haven’t previously served on the committee, I have been an active member and witnessed firsthand the incredible work done to bring people together through cultural events, networking opportunities, and language learning. I want to build on this foundation and take our society to new heights!

If elected, my goal is to continue the enthusiasm and dedication of the past leadership while introducing fresh ideas to make our society more dynamic and inclusive than ever before. I plan to expand our events to include interactive experiences such as cooking classes, film screenings, and trips that celebrate Russian culture in an engaging way. Additionally, I will work on bringing in inspiring guest speakers from various fields and creating more opportunities for students to connect with Russian-speaking communities across universities.

Above all, I want the Russian Society to remain a welcoming space for everyone—whether you speak Russian fluently or are just curious about the culture. Let’s keep the momentum going and make 2025/26 an even more exciting year for our society!
