Red Cross Society: President

I am want to be president of the Red Cross Society, which I established to give students a forum to discuss humanitarian concerns and take significant action. I've been volunteering with the British Red Cross for a number of years, and I've witnessed personally the positive effects of their work, especially when it comes to helping refugees and underprivileged areas. In my capacity as president, I hope to increase our fundraising efforts to support important Red Cross programs and increase public awareness of important humanitarian issues. In order to ensure that students can successfully contribute to local and global humanitarian concerns, I want to strengthen our society's role in advocacy and direct support through events, campaigns, and partnerships.
