Election post

I’m running for Marketing Officer because I believe I can take the society’s engagement to the next level, which in turn will attract more members and ensure high turnout and quality events. I have a strong understanding of social media and know what grabs attention and encourages people to get involved. Combined with my ability to plan ahead and stay organized, I can ensure both consistent and high-quality engagement. Finally, I have experience in marketing—not just casually with friends but also in more professional settings through previous leadership roles—so I already have a solid understanding of what the role requires.
If elected, I will focus on fresh and exciting ways to promote the society. This includes traditional social media marketing, capitalizing on trends, creating interactive content, and placing special emphasis on in-person promotion. I intend to maintain a consistent posting schedule with engaging content like polls and Q&As to keep the community actively involved. The Punjabi Society has one of the strongest and most tight-knit communities at UCL, and I want to make sure that’s at the forefront when attracting new members.
On a side note, I work amazing with our future president Aryan Virdi. He’s been my day 1 mush from time and we can’t be replicated , no diddy.
Overall, I’m excited about the opportunity to contribute, and I’d love the chance to bring fresh ideas to the team.
