Poker Society: President

Hey everyone,

I'm Agathe, this year's Poker Society Treasurer! 

This year at Poker Soc has been amazing. We enjoyed every moment, and hope we did a good job. However, we feel like we can bring even more to Poker Soc next year, which is why Jean (the current president) and myself decided to re-nominate ourselves, but with a slight twist.

For next year (my final year at UCL sadly), I'm excited to step up as a candidate for the President position in our poker crew! I really enjoyed being treasurer but I now want to discover the other side of leading a society: presiding!

If you give me the nod, I'll keep things laid-back, transparent, and fun as always. Let's make sure every member feels like a VIP and our society thrives even more next year.

As for my game plan, I'm all about slashing membership fees and bringing back inter-university showdowns. I also plan to buy new stuff for next year, green casino carpets, new chips, decks, dealer button (to avoid having you guys using a dice for the dealer button next year) , all to improve our immersion and facilitate dealing and playing.

Also, big shoutout to Jean again for having my back as we tag team to make things happen.
