I am running for the position of Career & Sponsorship Officer to assist students in exploring career opportunities while securing sponsorships to foster the society’s growth. Through my involvement in events organised by the Centre for Data Intensive Science and Industry, the Physics Society, the Institute of Physics, IBM, and other companies, I have recognised the importance of strong industry connections and well-funded events in providing valuable career insights.

To attract sponsorships, I plan to leverage relationships with organisations such as the Institute of Physics, university career services, and industry partners, while also reaching out to companies in the tech, finance, engineering, and research sectors that value physics talent. In addition to sponsorship initiatives, I will work on organising career events, industry talks, and networking sessions with professionals from CERN, LHC, DESI, and leading firms. By securing funding and expanding industry partnerships, I aim to enhance career opportunities for students while supporting the society’s growth. I look forward to contributing to the Physics Society and creating more opportunities for its members.
