Philosophy Society: Events Coordinator

I'd like to initiate more get-togethers and discussions that extend past the common room! Starting with some debating opportunities, we need more events for Philosophers! We are in the middle of a cultural hotspot and have a lot around us to Philosophise.

I have managed a range of events over the last few years, from fundraisers to peer gatherings. I've created a competitive debate team for a sixth form but also raised over £25k for various charities via organising events over Christmas- why not introduce some Charity events to the Philosophy society?

I'd opt for polls and Q&As to encourage your participation in decisions, and gather consensus about new ideas for meet-ups and socials. Overall, I'm confident we could increase engagement and discussion, as well as maintaining the joy of existing events!
