Sheza Ali

I’m Sheza, and I’m running for Vice President of PakSoc!

If you’ve been to a PakSoc event, we’ve probably already crossed paths- whether I was helping out, introducing myself with too much enthusiasm, or leading the chilli challenge stall at Games Night and realising too late I didn’t bring enough milk. (Sorry everyone-lesson learned!)

As First-Year Rep, I’ve worked to make our events fun, welcoming, and full of good vibes. I know what works, what can be improved, and how to take PakSoc to the next level. As VP, I’ll bring bigger events, better experiences, and fresh energy to make our society thrive.

My Vision:

  • Bigger & Better Events – From cultural nights to career panels, I’ll push for socials, game nights, and charity events that create lasting memories.
  • Stronger Community – A society is only as strong as its members. More inter-society collaborations mean fresh, exciting events that make PakSoc an inclusive space.
  • Your Voice Matters – Through forums, suggestion boxes, and casual chats, I’ll ensure everyone’s ideas are heard.

What I Bring:

  • First-Year Rep Experience – I know the ropes and what it takes to run successful events.
  • Event Planning & Teamwork – I’ve helped organise events, ensuring they run smoothly. No last-minute chaos, just stress-free fun.
  • Unmatched Energy – Passion, commitment, and a deep love for our culture.

Forever ready to sacrifice my life for Pakistan ;)

Let’s take PakSoc to new heights. Vote Sheza for VP!

Talal Imam

I’m running for Vice President of PakSoc because I’m proud of my roots and want to help create a fun, welcoming space where we can celebrate everything that makes the Pakistani culture so special. In my first year, some of the PakSoc events have been a highlight for me and I’d love to make this society even better next year.

Having lived in Islamabad for four years, I’ve seen firsthand how amazing our culture is -  from the warmth of the people to the incredible food and, of course, the country’s love for cricket. I want to bring that same energy and sense of community to PakSoc (I’ll make sure we have live streaming for the Asia cup later this year and T20 wc next year). The rest of my life I’ve lived in England, and I’m fully aware of how having a Pakistani community here is as well.

If elected, I’d focus on organising events that bring people together— from BBQ nights to cultural dinner. Whether you’re from Pakistan or just want to celebrate the tradition, I want PakSoc to feel like a place where everyone’s welcome.

Most importantly, I want PakSoc to be more than just a society, I want it to feel like family. With your support, I’d love to help make that happen.
