Raahym Rehan

I am Raahym Rehan, and I am running for the position of Senior Representative for the Pakistan Society. With my deep connection to Pakistan and my strong academic and leadership experiences at UCL, I am committed to representing our community with pride and dedication. Having grown up in Karachi and maintained a keen interest in my country’s culture and development, I believe I can effectively bridge our heritage with the vibrant opportunities available here.

My experience in leadership roles, including serving as the Events Officer for the UCL Mathematics Society and working as a Senior Teaching Assistant, has afforded me practical skills in organization, communication, and collaboration. I have actively worked to create inclusive events and support networks, ensuring that every member feels valued and connected.

I envision strengthening our society through creative initiatives that celebrate Pakistani culture, promote educational and networking opportunities, and facilitate discussions on issues that matter to our community. By coordinating engaging events, workshops, and social activities, I will strive to ensure that the Pakistan Society becomes a platform where our traditions and aspirations are celebrated and advanced.

Together, we can foster a strong, inclusive community that proudly upholds our heritage while inspiring future growth. I look forward to serving as your Senior Representative and working closely with you to make our society thrive.

Thank you for your support.

Zoha Hanif

I am standing as Senior Representative of the Pakistan Society because I want to help create a stronger, more inclusive community for Pakistani students. Having a mix of European, Pakistani, and British backgrounds helps me connect with a wide range of people, making it easier for members to feel welcome. I know how important it is to see someone who shares similar experiences, and I want to create a space where everyone feels included and part of the community.
