Musical Theatre Society: Head of Production

Hi!
I'm Paula, I'm a first-year English student and I'm running for Vice President! Starting from being a little child getting accepted to be a part of the Buffo Theatre group in 2015 and getting appointed as an assistant choreographer in high school to now assist-directing musicals at UCL, it seems that theatre has always been a part of my life. By gaining leadership experiences in other fields like being the chair of the Lecture Series Committee of the National Honour Society where I hosted talks and events for my school and receiving my sailing teacher license last summer, I aim to create an even stronger community engagement to ensure everyone feels included from performers to band members and the production teams, I would love to support and encourage more original and student-written shows as well as new takes on more known musicals. I would advocate for more frequent short-term commitments outside the blooms and small shows and any ideas or suggestions that you have! Together, we can make this society more dynamic and inclusive; I'd be honoured to represent you all!
