Musical Theatre Society: Communications Officer

Hi I am Ashley, a year 1 nutrition student:) After joining the musical theatre society, it gave me the opportunity to meet lots of talented people and making new friends! From the fresher's musical, spotlight, to the 24 hour musical, I enjoyed all of them and I am extremely grateful for everyone who made them happen. As someone who does not have much experience in theatre, I love how there will be at least 1 event that you can definitely join! I really wanted to connect more like minded people together here at the musical theatre society, therefore I am putting myself out here for this role:) 

If I am successful, I will be creating engaging content on the society's social media account to attract more people in joining our society, such as behind the scenes of shows, doing Q and A's and fun challenges etc! In terms of communication within the committee, I will be organising regular meetings to make sure that everyone is doing well, and as an opportunity to update situation of events that are happening within the society so to make sure everything is running smoothly. I was the managing director of a student company previously, allowing me to have experience on how to improve communication within a team, thus I believe I have sufficient experience which makes me a great candidate for this role.
