Hi guys, my name is Parthiv and I love muay thai :). I've been a member of UCLMT for nearly 2 years now, and this year, I've had the pleasure of being Gear Sec😎(i love carrying bags it's so lit). Throughout my time in the society, Muay Thai has become one of my biggest passions and ways to keep active but also take a break from studies/unwind and keep sane lol.
This club has given me so much: amazing friends, learning new skills, a way to stay active, and most importantly, a space to have fun! Now, I want to give back. I want to ensure that UCLMT remains a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where everyone can train, grow, and enjoy themselves—just like I have over the past 2 years.
Having experienced the lowest of lows and highest of highs whilst in UCLMT, I know that the journey isn’t always easy - but it’s so much easier when you have the right people around you. As Welfare Officer, I want to make sure that everyone in the club has that support, whether it’s inside or outside of training. I’ll do my best to make sure everyone feels welcome, included, and cared for.
My experience as committee this year and having had responsibility taking care of our gear has made me want to take care of YOU!
