Loveth Agule

Hi, I’m Loveth and it would be delighted to be your Social Secretary for the upcoming year!

Joining MODO this year has been a highlight of my university experience, not only providing a creative outlet but also a fantastic community of like-minded people. From the workshops to the backstage buzz of the show, I knew that I had found my place and now I’d love to help make MODO’s social scene even bigger, better, and maybe just a little bit wilder – in the best way possible!

As a second-year Media student and producer for my term films, I have the organisational skills to plan engaging and well-executed events (because if I can manage film deadlines, I can definitely manage a great night out). I’m social and approachable, always up for a laugh, and dedicated to making MODO socials both memorable and inclusive.

If elected, I’ll continue building on the success of our existing traditions while introducing new themed socials, creative mixers, and exciting networking opportunities. Most importantly, I’ll ensure MODO remains a welcoming, safe and fun space where everyone feels at home. Vote for me, and let’s make next year unforgettable!

Priscilla Olaseyinde

Hi, I am Priscilla, a 2nd year Neuroscience student and MODO's modelling coordinator.
This year at MODO,I helped with organising the annual fashion show, in my capacity as the modelling coordinator.
I would like to stretch this further, if given the opportunity, to organise more events within MODO and in collaboration with societies within and beyond UCL.
I plan to expand the opportunities available to MODO members by organising career talks, countless social events and of course the annual fashion show!

Vineet Patara

I am enthusiastic and passionate towards the success and development of MODO society and to the wellbeing of its members. As potential social secretary, I am committed to organising more socials events both on and off campus to foster and develop a strong sense of community in MODO society. I would love to host thrift/market crawls and organise visits to fashion exhibits in museums like the V&A museum and to be ambitious possible trips to the YSL museum and Dior museum in Paris. We could also host panel discussions inviting industry members to learn more about the industry. Also include workshops like upcyling, bleach painting as well as low-key movie nights.

Chloe Bong

My experience in event organization, leadership, and fashion makes me a strong candidate for Social Secretary. As School Artist Prefect, I organized a sustainable fashion show, ensuring smooth coordination between teams and creating an engaging experience for attendees. Beyond fashion, I have led large-scale events like a Rohingya Refugee Christmas party, working with diverse groups to bring people together. My leadership roles, including chairing MUN and serving as a school prefect, have strengthened my communication and organizational skills, which are key to fostering a strong social community. Being a model in this year’s MODO show, I have firsthand insight into how the society operates and where it could grow. Next year, I would love to introduce more social events with similar societies, invite guest speakers and industry professionals to shows, and expand outreach efforts to engage a wider audience. Creating a stronger, more connected community will enhance the MODO experience for members and collaborators alike. My experience in fast-paced environments, from working at The Westin’s five-star bar to running a game show, has made me confident in networking, engaging audiences, and managing event logistics. As an architecture student, I have strong time management skills, ensuring I can balance responsibilities effectively. I am passionate about bringing people together through fashion and would love to create exciting, inclusive social opportunities for MODO.

Stefania Athanasopoulou

For the past few months I have been involved in MODO as a production executive and have just totally fallen in love with every single person I have come across in the society. I was so pleasantly surprised by how welcome I felt in the group and how open everyone was to celebrate their looove of fashion with little ol' me. The community has really helped me feel like I belong here at UCL, and as social secretary I would love to help others have that experience through socials and other events! I have always had a love for how we can express ourselves through clothing and shape and colour and all that, but I have a special place in my heart for vintage fashion. If I were social secretary I would love to introduce some more vintage and retro elements to the society (think sales, conversations, fairs, workshops)! The vintage fashion community is so rich and beautiful here in London and therefore, I think, can offer something valuable to our society. Otherwise, I'd also love to continue our usual socials (eg. pub socials) which are more casual and lowkey, but really allow us to connect. And in that vein potentially encourage some society collabs; such as a collaborations with music societies for some themed parties:) Collaborations of these sorts I believe will only strengthen our group, as after all fashion is about so much more than just the clothes we wear!

If my vision resonates with you, I would be very grateful to have your vote <3
