Election post
Hi! I’m Roli, a second-year psychology student. I’d love to be your new Head of Marketing for Modo because I am passionate about using social media to build community, inspire self-expression, and share our love for fashion.
I feel qualified for this position because I have lots of experience in marketing/social media, having helped design Instagram posts for the Application of Psychedelics Society and being a UCL Careers Extra Content creator last year. I know how to use editing tools to create fun and engaging content and my background in psychology gives me insight into the science behind marketing. My love for design combined with my skillset makes me confident I'll do well in this role.
I have been part of Modo since I joined UCL but have been even more involved this year through modelling in the fashion show and magazine. The amazing people and opportunities have made my second year fun and exciting. As Head of Marketing, I aim to inspire engagement so others can share in this experience.
I see this role as a chance to share opportunities for growth while keeping the spirit of creativity alive. My goals if I am elected are to:
- maintain the pretty aesthetic ofc,
- make our social media as interactive as possible,
- effectively promote events and make information accessible,
- and share all interesting fashion-related opportunities from Modo and beyond! :)
