I prioritise the well-being of every member, striving to create a supportive, inclusive, and accessible environment where everyone feels valued and heard. My goal is to ensure that every individual receives the support they need to thrive. I want to continue to support this club in my final year.

I’ve been part of UCL MMA Society for two years now, and with my background in martial arts, I know how intimidating it can be starting out. I’ve always enjoyed helping new members feel more comfortable, whether that’s with technique, confidence, or just feeling part of the group. As Welfare Officer, I’d make sure everyone feels welcome and supported, creating a safe and inclusive space where we can all train, improve, and enjoy the sport together.

I'm running for Welfare Officer because I genuinely care about the well-being of our MMA society members. Training in MMA is both physically and mentally demanding, and I want to ensure that everyone feels supported, included, and able to enjoy the sport in a positive environment.
As a Psychology, I have a strong understanding of mental well-being and communication—both essential for this role. My experience as a Student Ambassador has taught me how to listen, support others, and create a welcoming space for people from all backgrounds. I’ve also developed strong organizational and problem-solving skills through my work as an Optometrist’s Assistant, where and helped people navigate their concerns.
If elected, I’d love to introduce regular check-ins, and an anonymous feedback system to make sure every member feels heard and supported. Being trilingual in English, Italian, and German also means I can help ensure language is never a barrier to getting the support you need.
MMA is an incredible sport that builds resilience, confidence, and community. I’d love the chance to help make our society an even more supportive and inclusive space for everyone.
