Mixed Martial Arts Club: Treasurer

Hi I’m Kimia and I’m a 5th year medical student. I was new to MMA this year but this club has quickly become a huge part of my uni life. I want to give back by making sure we have the resources to grow, train, and compete at our best. As treasurer, I'll keep our finances in top shape so we can focus on what we all love and what really matters-improving and enjoying the sport. I’m good with numbers and have managed budgets in group projects before and always ensure money is spent wisely. I’ll bring this same dedication to the role.

I’ve been part of UCL MMA Society for two years and want to help keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. As Treasurer, I’d focus on organizing training events and exploring funding for expert-led seminars so we can keep improving as a club. I’d also make sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes, ensuring our finances are well managed and put towards giving members the best experience possible.

I feel like I would be best suited for Team Captain or VP but I am still applying here because my skills would definetly be useful as treasurer if need be.

Hi I'm Oscar, i am a first year student studying management science. I was an active member of the society that joined this year. I aspire to become the treasurer as i find it to be the best opportunity to show case my skills to contribute to the community in a better way. I am good at basic tools such as excel, able to keep account books, and also i have self experience on budget management. I am very confident of meeting the expectations for the rest of the members of the committee and also the members of the society for the next upcoming year. 

In addition to this, i just love mma, and i want to be more involved with the sport next year as i aspire to compete also next year, being a member of the committee also motivates me to expand further this part of my life.
