To apply a combination of work ethic, mediated intensity and experience within a position of leadership in order to assist new or current fighters into fighting-shape.
Being southpaw yet taught typically in orthodox as well as being partnered with orthodox fighters also allows for another unique lens to analyse fighters through, which I believe could be a strong angle for new fighter to be helped with.
As a lifelong athlete I have racked up a list of injuries and recovery processes as well as intense strength and conditioning - further giving cause for a knowledge of sports science I understand to be applicable to Mixed Martial Arts

Hey everyone,
MMA has been a huge part of my uni life, and this club has given me some of my best experiences at UCL. While I won’t be competing in the Uni Fight, I still want to contribute in a meaningful way—which is why I’m running for Team Captain.
I have competition experience from my time in Karate, where I trained and competed before I had to step away from fighting. Even though I can no longer compete, I understand what it takes to prepare for a fight—physically, technically, and mentally. That’s why I want to support our fighters in every way possible, whether it’s organizing sparring sessions, breaking down fight strategies, or assisting with weight cuts and mental preparation.
Beyond training, I also want to strengthen our team spirit. The bond we share in this society is what makes it truly special, and I’ll work to ensure that everyone—fighters and non-fighters alike—feels valued as a part of the team.
This is just one of the many ways I want to contribute next year—you’ll also see my application for VP, where I share more about my vision for the club. But for now, if you believe I’d be a great fit for Team Captain, I’d be truly grateful to have your support!
P.S.: I’m the one in the red T-shirt in the photo.
