Election post
Hi, I’m Tricia and I hope to be your Vice-President next year! I enjoyed organising engaging socials and making new friends as this year’s Events Officer, and I hope to continue serving MedTech—this time through forging a stronger society identity with a greater leadership role.
Having been involved in most MedTech events this year, I’ve gained a deep understanding of what makes our society thrive. I will build on this by leading more events and organising interactive conferences, ensuring they become more memorable. I’m proactive, love a challenge, and take pride in showcasing events that reflect MedTech’s excellence. I look forward to collaborating with a team of like-minded individuals to connect members with leaders in the MedTech industry.
From previous events, it’s truly the new friendships forged that create a strong community that members look forward to returning to. I’ve made valuable connections from various events like the Mentorship Programme and Games Afternoon, and hope that all our members could say the same too.
If elected, I would lead and collaborate with the team to organise socials to foster deeper connections. With a stronger sense of community, I anticipate more buzzing events ahead. I also aim to initiate more inter-society and university collaborations, expanding MedTech’s reach and fostering stronger partnerships for bigger and more impactful events for all. I am passionate about MedTech and hope you’d support me in leading the society next year!
