Dear Members of the MedTech Society,
I am writing to express my interest in the Portal Chair position. As a student in Medical Innovation and Enterprise, I am passionate about leveraging technology to enhance communication and collaboration within our society. I believe that a well-managed portal is essential for providing members with easy access to resources, events, and opportunities
My experience as an academic representative and in sales has equipped me with strong organizational and communication. These skills are essential for managing and promoting the portal, ensuring it is a resource that meets the needs of our members. If selected, I will focus on improving the portal’s usability, ensuring that members can easily navigate it and find the information they need. I will work on keeping the content up to date, managing event registrations, and creating engaging features like discussion boards or member directories to promote collaboration. Additionally, I will ensure the portal is a space for effective communication, allowing members to easily access society news, resources, and updates.

Hi, I'm Shreya, a medical student with a strong interest in MedTech and entrepreneurship. This passion has grown over time, particularly during my intercalated year in Management at Imperial, where I gained valuable insights into innovation and leadership within healthcare.
I thoroughly enjoy learning from those who have made a tangible impact in MedTech and am eager to enhance the Portal Team to better share this knowledge with our members. As Editorial Lead at the global organisation Doctorpreneurs, I have had the opportunity to interview CEOs of health tech companies, delving into their journeys, growth, and future visions. Publishing these interviews has strengthened my ability to build meaningful connections, ask insightful questions, and communicate complex ideas effectively.
As Portal Chair, I aim to leverage this experience to explore new engagement avenues—including more consistent podcast episodes and even short-form content like TikTok videos—to maximise our reach and impact. I look forward to using this opportunity to learn more and drive MedTech initiatives forward.
