Udaiveer Parihar

Dear MedTech Society Members,

I am thrilled to announce that I'm running for Corporate Relations Officer. My name is Udaiveer, and as a passionate medical student with a strong background in business relations, I am eager to bring my experience in sponsorship management and corporate outreach to this role.

Through my work with startup accelerators, I have collaborated with businesses to develop innovative solutions, refining my communication skills through strategic outreach. Additionally, as the sponsorship manager for my F1 in Schools team, I secured valuable partnerships, ensuring financial support in exchange for meaningful promotion. I am eager to apply this experience to secure sponsorships that will help the MedTech Society and its events thrive.

I am committed to fostering strong relationships with businesses to support the society’s growth and success. It would be an honor to serve as your Corporate Relations Officer, and I appreciate your support.

Warm regards,
Udaiveer

Hamdan Kekere-Ekun

Hi, I’m Hamdan, a second-year Biology student and the current Diversity & Inclusion Chair for UCL MedTech. I’m running for Treasurer and Corporate Relations because I want to help the society grow and create more opportunities for others interested in MedTech.

This year, I’ve enjoyed organizing the MFA conference, helping with speaker events, and supporting the committee in different ways. Through this society, I’ve met incredible people—from industry leaders to MedTech founders—and I want to make sure others get the same opportunities to network and get involved.

If elected Corporate Relations Officer, I’d focus on securing more sponsorships and partnerships to fund internships, work experience opportunities, and high-quality events. I’ve already helped bring in sponsorships from multiple companies this year, and with more time invested, UCL MedTech can strengthen its relationships with companies and, therefore, host even better events. Alongside conferences and networking events, I’d like to introduce more workshops, particularly in entrepreneurship, and hackathons with great prizes.

UCL MedTech has been a huge part of my university experience, and I’d love to contribute more. If you want to see more opportunities, stronger industry connections, and better events, vote for me!

Dilmeet Kapoor

Hi, I'm Dilmeet, and I'm running for Corporate Relations Officer for MedTech Society. Why should you vote for me?

Experience: I am a proactive individual with strong leadership and interpersonal skills, suitable for Corporate Relations Officer. I've managed large-scale events, and led meaningful projects, like:

  • Independently collaborating with partnership managers of a charity to launch a Financial Education Campaign, to improve financial literacy.
  • As a Wildhearts' Global Youth Ambassador, leading an initiative supporting 1000+ students during COVID lockdowns.
  • Creating the Student Enrichment Initiative, independently delivering 200+ opportunities over 14 months, to help young people gain professional experience, soft skills, and access higher-level job prospects, all for free.

Ideas! From delivering MedTech events, to collaborating with start-ups, companies and global organisations, I am confident that I can contribute to fostering opportunities that give UCL students an opportunity to actively engage in projects, and gain meaningful experience in these sectors. This includes being involved in delivering our society's Mentorship Scheme!

I'm passionate about MedTech, increasing outreach, and cultivating impactful initiatives to support our society's ethos. These experiences showcase that I can lead, advocate effectively, drive positive change, and contribute meaningfully as a Corporate Relations Officer for MedTech Society. Vote Dilmeet for Corporate Relations Officer!

Isabel Puleva

Dear Members of the MedTech Society,

I am writing to express my interest in the Corporate Relations Officer position within the MedTech Society. As a student of Medical Innovation and Enterprise, with a strong foundation in business principles and a passion for healthcare technology, I am eager to contribute to the society’s growth by fostering meaningful corporate partnerships and collaborations.

My business modules  have equipped me with essential skills in business development, strategy, and entrepreneurship, which are essential for understanding hoe to approach and build relationships with key stakeholders, particularly within the MedTech and healthcare industries, given the interdisciplinary nature of my course.

In addition, my experience as an academic representative and my previous role in sales have honed my communication and negotiation skills. Through these roles, I have learned how to engage with diverse groups, listen effectively, and present ideas clearly and persuasively. These skills will be invaluable in building strong relationships with corporate partners and securing sponsorships for society events.

I am excited about the opportunity to leverage my skills in communication, business strategy, and passion for MedTech to contribute to the MedTech Society’s mission. Thank you for considering my application, and I look forward to the opportunity to discuss how I can help the society expand its network and partnerships.

Sincerely,

Isabel.

Meher Parashar

Hello, my name is Meher, I am currently a second-year Medical Innovation and Enterprise student, and I am running for the role of Corporate Relations Officer. Being an active member of MedTech society for almost 2 years I want to contribute and bring new opportunities to society members and this is facilitated by building strong industry connections and relationships!

My internships and extracurriculars have allowed me to learn how to communicate professionally and maintain client relationships. Through my TEDx marketing internship I gained valuable insights into building strong professional relationships via in-depth interviews with clients, which I am eager to apply to the MedTech society. Furthermore, my internship at a FemTech startup has helped me further develop networking skills by engaging with experts, investors and partners in the healthcare space. I believe these experiences have equipped me with the skills to strengthen the MedTech society's corporate relations and partnerships.

I am excited to contribute to a society that brings together people who are just as excited with health innovation as I am. If elected, I would work to secure connections with both industry leaders and innovative startups, bringing in speakers from diverse backgrounds! Thank you for your consideration!
