Hi everyone!
I’m running for Corporate Relations Director because strong connections are crucial—especially within the Malaysian community.
Imagine graduating from UCL and feeling completely disconnected from the university. That shouldn’t happen. My passion for this role began when I attended an event where I learned that the Malaysian government struggled to reach fresh graduates and UCL alumni due to the lack of an official network. As a result, many Malaysian students miss out on career opportunities and valuable connections.
Coming to the UK, I’ve realized how important it is to have a strong support system. Whether it’s career guidance, networking, or simply familiar faces to rely on, these connections shape our journey. That’s why I want to establish an official Malaysian UCL Alumni Society to bridge the gap between students, graduates, and corporate partners—creating mentorship opportunities, career programs, and lasting professional networks.
Beyond sponsorships, you deserve more industry talks, networking sessions, and internships to gain real career exposure. Strengthening corporate ties means direct recruitment opportunities, insider insights, and long-term partnerships that benefit you.
I have experience securing top speakers, organizing large-scale events, and building strong networks, ensuring these initiatives are impactful.

I’m excited to bring this vision to life and hope to earn your support.
Thank you!

The UCL Malaysian Society has genuinely been the home away from home it describes as. Joining events and interacting with other Malaysians inspired me to always strive for new opportunities. I have been fortunate to meet many capable individuals in the UCL Malaysian community. I am running for corporate relations officer to enhance employment opportunities and chances for Malaysians to learn more about what they are passionate about. Given the talent and intelligence of all Malaysians in UCL, it is only right that the UCL Malaysian Society can enhance this and provide them with opportunities in Malaysia and the UK. The role of corporate relations director would best allow me to support this. Interacting with sponsors, charities, and professionals would benefit the Malaysian Society - helping them discover what they truly enjoy and want to pursue. As corporate relations director, I aim to create a framework dedicated to opening doors for Malaysians in UCL, no matter what they decide to pursue.
