I would like to increase the scope of the UCL malayali society through its involvement in sports. I believe that sport is a major way to bring different communities together and therefore will be beneficial to the members of our society in gaining the best cultural experience at university. Should I be elected as sports secretary, I will look to increase the number of sports socials the Malayali society has, as well as use my connections in other cultural societies to increase the number of joint sports events. I will also introduce new sports to join based on interest from our society members.
