Who am I?
Hello! I'm Alu Cen, a first-year history, politics, and economics student from Hong Kong, and I am running to be your blog editor.
My Vision
LfA has greatly supported my journey into law, and I want to pay the deed forward by becoming your blog editor. I hope to revitalise the LfA blog, creating a space for members to share the unique perspectives that non-law students possess while also enhancing LfA's digital presence. To achieve this, I have four main initiatives in mind:
- Brainstorming platforms – creating a resource for prospective writers to find inspiration.
- Member spotlights – showcasing the contributions of particularly active members.
- Guest essays – inviting lawyers, trainees, and students to write articles.
- Multimedia content – reviving the LfA podcast or even creating video content.
Why me?
When it comes to blogs, I'm a "get things done" person. As the founder of an economics society blog in high school, I maintained an organised publishing schedule and a consistent level of participation thanks to initiatives like those mentioned above. Additionally, through my experience editing articles and essays for the economics blog and my role as a teaching assistant, I have learned how to respect the writer's style and message while editing. Thus, whether it be management or editing, you can trust me.
I can't achieve my goal of improving this blog alone. I need your help as a member of LfA and a potential writer.
A vote for me is a vote for you. Vote Alu!

I have been part of the UCL Law for All society for a little while now, attending events and reading the blogs, and would love to take a leading role in writing, formulating, and editing engaging reading for the societies' members.
I am passionate about writing in the blog format, having run a history blog and newsletter, as well as a rugby newsletter for my previous school very successfully, contacting various experts for comment, and managing a team to aid in the writing of articles founded in logic and fact.
I am hugely passionate about law, and this role would give me a huge opportunity, but would also allow the readers to engage effectively with the blogs as i take the role of leading it forward.
Thank you for your consideration.

Hi everyone, my name is Artyom and I am a second-year studying International Social and Political Studies and have greatly enjoyed the events held by Law for All Society this year. As a result, I would now like to play a more active role in the society, but at the same time help students not directly on the committee to participate by reanimating the Law For All Blog.
Blogs are an incredible way of both expanding one's knowledge and demonstrating a commitment to the subject. With a field like law, producing regular written pieces is invaluable for demonstrating interest, commercial awareness and a dedication to the career.
Having worked as a copywriter since sixth form, I have had the opportunity to oversee a variety of projects, from blogs to journals. Furthermore, at UCL I have written for my departmental journal in the role of the political columnist for the past two years, giving me a realistic expectations how to balance society deadlines with academic ones. I will therefore strive to put our writers best interest forward by working to their personal timetables, not the other way around!
