Simone Liang (Her)
What do you hope to achieve in the role if you are elected?

My goal is to ensure that international students feel not just included, but truly represented and supported within UCL community.

I plan to enhance communication between international students and the university by providing clear, accessible updates on key issues such as visa regulations, academic resources, and career opportunities. Additionally, I will introduce structured forums where students can voice their concerns, ensuring that their needs are directly addressed. By working closely with the Student Officer, I will help shape agendas that prioritize international student interests.

What will you bring to this role (e.g. experience, skills or qualities)?

As a dedicated international student advocate with experience in leadership and communication, I am well-prepared to excel as Secretary of the International Students’ Network.

In high school, I served as the secretary of the International Student Council, where I took detailed minutes, coordinated student-led initiatives, and facilitated discussions between students and school administrators. As an editor for ucl law society's commercial awareness newsletter, I honed my ability to synthesize key information.

Vote for a Secretary who listens, takes action, and delivers results!!
