What do you hope to achieve in the role if you are elected?

If elected, I aim to:

  2. Secure more funds for cultural societies to organise affordable social events.
  3. Host engaging events, including cultural festival celebrations and networking opportunities, encouraging greater interaction among UCL's 18,000 international students.

What will you bring to this role (e.g. experience, skills or qualities)?

I  will bring strong organisational and communication skills from my experience organising volunteering events and large-scale conferences. As an international student in the UK for five years, I understand our challenges and believe my firsthand experience equips me to advocate effectively for our community. My bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese helps bridge language barriers, promoting better communication. Most importantly, my enthusiasm for enhancing the student experience will drive me to create enjoyable and inclusive social opportunities for all international students.

With my experience in event coordination, bilingual communication, and advocacy, I am the ideal candidate for this role.
