If elected Editor-in-Chief of the International Relations Society’s Circum Mundum, I commit to leading our journal with a vision of inclusive and critical reporting of global affairs.

My work as a writer for Circum Mundum has shown me how journalism can spotlight overlooked issues and challenge dominant narratives. This year, I proudly contributed the first published article since 2023, a milestone that inspires me to reinvigorate our publication with fresh, engaging content.

I am dedicated to ensuring our reporting reflects the diverse voices of our global community while maintaining academic rigour and thoughtful storytelling. My experiences as a writer, team leader, and assistant editor have instilled in me the value of empathy, critical analysis, and open dialogue. I believe that true leadership means nurturing a space where every idea is welcomed and every contributor feels valued.

If entrusted with this role, I will work closely with our team to broaden our editorial vision and support emerging voices. My aim is to position Circum Mundum as not only a hub for in-depth analysis but also as a journal that makes an impact beyond our community.

Emboldened by the belief that we learn from one another, I promise to create an environment where every idea can thrive.
