Sabrina Hart

Hi everyone! My name is Sabrina Hart, and in the 2025/2026 academic year, I will be a third year in the classics program. I have been a part of the In Aid of UNICEF Society since my first year, and had the wonderful opportunity to be Welfare Officer this past academic year. I hope to be Social Secretary to expand engagement within our society, and give our members a chance both inside and outside of fundraising and volunteering to get to know each other better.

As Welfare Officer, I created a welcoming, safe space for all of our members, organising wellness check-ins and events, and I feel I could build upon this work as Social Secretary. I plan to increase the number of socials our society has, asking members what they want out of a social and hosting one every other week. I hope to have a variety of events, with everything from colouring evenings to afternoon walks to dancing nights! Our society’s work depends on the relationships our members have with each other, and I want to create safe, fun spaces for each of us to chat, laugh, and destress from university.

Our society focuses on helping both our local and global community, and feeling connected to each other will strengthen the impact of the work we do together. By hosting frequent events every member can drop into in whatever way fits with their schedule, I feel confident that our society’s community will grow even closer. I cannot wait to meet you all!
