I'm running for this role because I have been participating in most of the B team's games; despite not playing perfectly, I'm always open to suggestions and am happy to learn. I'm a first-year undergraduate, meaning that I'll be with Yetis for the upcoming two years, and if I can get this role, I'll make sure the B team is managed consistently and effectively.
Hi I'm Sophia, a second year History student. I've been with the Yetis two years now, this season as your B Team manager.
I'm running for B Team captain because I believe that the Betis still have so much potential for growth
As many of you know, at the end of this year, we will sadly lose most of our veteran players, but that means we will have a great opportunity to rebuild the squad. Next year I would want to focus on building team synergy and cohesion in training with more play-specific drills. But also not neglecting fundamental skills especially for our beginner and intermediate players.
Already having lead some trainings this year, I want to try and get the most out of the limited ice time and make some visible improvements in everybody's game.
But most importantly, the Yetis under my leadership would continue to have the friendly, positive environment which drew us all to the team in the first place! I'll make sure we'll crush Imperial and make Betis beach barbecues and Coventry club nights become B team traditions!
