History Society: Secretary / Communications Officer

Hey guys! My name's Jaime. 

I am standing to be the Secretary/Communications officer because I would love to get involved with the history society and I believe I can bring the necessary skills required for this specific role. I have had experience with communications in my high school clubs and I am keen to use these skills in service of the history society. As communications officer, I promise that punctuality will be my first priority when it comes to communicating with you. In my opinion, what makes effective communication is raising awareness of our events in an appropriate timely manner, so that it can capture attention while ensuring that it is not forgotten. I look forward to working with the committee and ensuring that our plans and ideas can be communicated effectively to our members. As someone who has worked in many group committees, I have many ideas I am excited to share with the history society. I hope I can count on your vote!
