Why I’m the Right Candidate

Currently serving as VP of Outreach, I’ve sourced several collaborating opportunities, reached out for potential sponsorship opportunities, maintained and developed the current connections we have. These experiences have given me the insight and network needed to keep elevating our society’s profile and reach.

Key Priorities

  1. Partnerships & Collaborations
    • Expand industry ties: Pursue more sponsors and partner organizations.
    • Strengthen inter-society links to broaden student involvement.
    • Build alumni network: Invite alumni as mentors and speakers.
  2. Event Expansion
    • Introduce new workshops, speaker series, career panels.
    • Implement targeted strategies and social media outreach.

My Commitment

We’ve transformed the Guild Society into a vibrant, well-connected community. However, our work is far from finished. By re-electing me, you ensure the momentum we’ve built doesn’t stall. Together, we can continue:

  • Fulfilling Our Vision: I’m dedicated to creating more partnerships, bigger events, and richer opportunities.
  • Leveraging Our Experience: We know our outreach strategies best and can fine-tune them for even greater impact.
  • Delivering Sustainable Growth: With renewed leadership, we’ll refine our processes, introduce new initiatives, and build lasting value for all members.

Vote for Continuity. Vote for Progress.

Emily Fan

Simply put: 1) I have experience and 2) I am consistent.

1 - Experience

I have extensive experience in outreach, notably:

  • I was an international business development intern, which taught me how to secure and develop partnerships from around the world - tailoring emails, cold emailing, finding suitable contacts, scheduling meetings, responding in a timely manner etc.
  • I also have experience in leadership - I was the Marketing VP for Business Society where I managed a team of executives and a First Year Rep.

2 - Consistency

  • I have an underrated strength - finding and maintaining a professional connection without being too overbearing or too distant.
  • The linkedin warrior within me makes me very consistent in any outreach role I take on.
Rithvick Dittakavi

I should be nominated for UCL Guild Vice President of Outreach because I have the vision, drive, and execution-focused mindset to expand the Guild’s influence and create meaningful opportunities for our members. My background in helping to run a student-led company, leading my school’s economics society, and building high-impact networks has equipped me with the skills to forge valuable connections beyond UCL. I firmly stand by the belief that Outreach is about more than just external partnerships—it’s about ensuring our members have direct access to industry leaders, top firms, and exclusive opportunities. I don’t just want to maintain the Guild’s reputation; I want to elevate it by securing high-calibre collaborations, bringing in top-tier speakers, and expanding our presence within London’s professional landscape. My approach is simple: strategic action over empty talk. I execute with precision, ensuring that outreach efforts translate into real value—whether through mentorship programs, corporate partnerships, or exclusive networking events. To me, leadership is about creating opportunities that last. If elected, I will push boundaries, build new pipelines for career progression, and ensure UCL Guild remains the ultimate platform for ambitious students. If you want someone who will deliver real impact, I’m the right choice for VP of Outreach.
