Mueez Lodhi

I am standing for the role of Treasurer for the Guild Society because I am committed to ensuring the society’s financial stability, transparency, and long-term growth. Effective financial management is essential for delivering high-quality events, initiatives, and opportunities for members, and I aim to optimise the society’s budget to maximise its impact. Through careful planning, responsible budgeting, and securing additional funding where possible, I will ensure that resources are allocated efficiently to support both existing and new initiatives. My goal is to maintain financial accountability while enabling the society to expand its reach, providing members with greater value and a more enriching experience.

Nikhil Boya

As an economics student interested in finance, I have a solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting and financial planning. My experience in investment competitions and internships has honed my ability to manage funds effectively, and I am eager to bring bolder financial decisions to the Guild Society.

Being a first-year rep at the European Banking and Finance Society, I have gained deep insight into how student organisations thrive. I would love to apply the skills I have gained to ensure the Guild Society maintains financial stability, while also funding the most impactful initiates, securing sponsorships and maximising opportunity for all the members.

As a finalist in the Young Economist of the Year competition, I had the opportunity to visit the Treasury, 10 Downing Street, and KPMG in Canary Wharf, where I gained valuable insights and connections that I can leverage to benefit the Guild Society’s finances.

If elected, I'll work to make the Guild Society bigger and better than ever!

Samarth Gubbala

I am excited to be considered for Treasurer of Guild, a role ideally suited to my strengths in financial strategy, budgeting, and resource management. My experiences—from forecasting investment outcomes through data analytics at Stryker, to detailed valuation analyses during corporate finance and venture capital internships—demonstrate my strong capability in meticulous financial oversight and strategic thinking.

Actively participating in Guild events has deepened my appreciation for our society, motivating me to further contribute to its continued growth. My previous leadership positions, managing funds and driving community-oriented financial initiatives, showcase my ability to effectively manage budgets, innovate financially, and maintain absolute transparency.

As Treasurer, I am committed to leveraging these experiences to ensure Guild’s financial sustainability, strategically enhance our resources, and drive the successful execution of impactful events. I promise transparent and responsible financial stewardship to help Guild thrive.
