Hi, I am Zofia. I want GCS to be a place where we truly explore the world—where we go beyond academics and connect with ideas, industries, and cultures that broaden our perspectives. In high school, I have led two societies (one is the drama club and another one is more academic), shaping open and efficient communities, and I’ve also worked with some studios, which deepened my understanding of diverse ways of thinking and met different kinds of people. I believe a society should be dynamic, inclusive, and ever-evolving. As a president, I will introduce a new system that enhances efficiency while maintaining a free and inspiring atmosphere, ensuring that GCS becomes a platform where every member can grow, connect, and always get chances to discover new things.

I am standing for President because I care about the long-term growth and success of the Global China Study Society. Having been actively involved in the society and taken on many leadership responsibilities, I understand both its strengths and the areas where we can improve. I have organised an academic conference for GCSS where I invited two professors and social media content creators for talks and have negotiated with external parties for sponsorships. These experiences provided me valuable insight into both the strategic vision and the operational details in GCSS.

I believe I have the consistency, responsibility and vision as the future President of GCSS. I aim to not only continue hosting high-quality seminars but also introduce diverse activities, including cultural and networking sessions, interactive policy debates, and increased cross-society collaborations. My goal is to enhance the quality of our initiatives, strengthen our internal structure, and create a more engaging and impactful community for all members.
