I believe I would be a good director of speaker events because I would be able to organise interesting speakers through good connections. Additionally I am comfortable with reaching out to potential speakers, negotiating schedules, and maintaining professional correspondence to secure high-quality guests. I would also not shy away from trying to collaborate with other UCL societies or german societies in London to secure even better speakers. Furthermore I would enjoy planning and organising events.
