Geographical Society: Social Media Officer

Hii I’m Yoyo and below is why you should vote me to be your geogsoc social media officer for the next year. 

So, why me? Well, my content creation portofolio dates back to my preteen days of running multiple fanart and fanedit pages on Instagram. ✔Growing social media presence. Once, when one of my artwork was reposted by this unnamed celebrity, I decided to thank my art teacher. It must’ve made her day too because the next day she set the entire year group the task of redesigning an album cover for their favourite artists. ✔Stirring up engagement. And despite neither of my secondary schools offering me art scholarships until I chose to leave, my paintings (both physical & digital) were used as both school’s school magazine covers and countless events’ promotional posters. ✔Producing marketable materials. I am, unfortunately for my academic weapon transformation, chronically online, but fortunately, if you choose me to be your social media officer, chronically online. ✔Up to date with the latest trends. With access to the geogsoc instagram account, I will make sure your hourly doomscrolling includes stimulating polls, contests and live streams. ✔Fostering a sense of digital community. ✔Showcasing geography’s awesomeness.

So, let me take my trusty iPad and apple pencil pair beyond the lecture halls and that random window seat in the geography section of the science library, which has pretty much become my designated spot, and whip up some delicious content for you.
