Hallo everynyan!
I’m a second-year Medical Innovation and Enterprise student, and I’m nominating myself for Branding and Design Officer because I believe our society’s branding needs a serious glow-up, and I’d love to refresh our visuals and create designs that truly represent us—something that a stranger would stop you just to ask where you got the hoodie or jersey from. With a more cohesive and exciting brand identity, we can show the world just how swaggy our society really is.
I designed the jersey that won the competition (YAYYY), which I’m sure you’ve seen! Beyond that, I have experience in graphic design and a strong eye for aesthetics. I’m currently a model for the UCL fashion show and regularly participate in cosplay, helping with visual setups at conventions and creating promotional posts for shops. These experiences have strengthened my skills in branding, visual storytelling, and creating engaging designs that connect with a community.
Most importantly, collaboration is detrimental to me, and I’d love to work with everyone to ensure our designs reflect the interests and ideas of our members. I am always open to feedback (positive or negative) and willing to experiment with different styles to make sure everyone is heard. With my creativity, design experience, and passion for our society, I can’t wait to contribute and make our branding truly stand out!

Hi, I’m Catherine!
UCL’s Gaming Society has been a huge part of what made my first year so enjoyable. From meeting new people to attending great events, it’s created a welcoming community that I’m grateful to be part of. Now, I’d love to give back by helping shape the society’s image as Branding & Design Officer and making it just as inviting for new members next year.
This role is the perfect mix of creativity and community-building, and I’d love the chance to design social media content and branding that reflects everything that makes this society great. A strong visual identity helps bring people in and keeps them engaged, and I’m excited to make that happen.
With a keen eye for design and a passion for gaming, I’m ready to put in the effort to keep the society looking its best. I’d love the opportunity to contribute and help make next year just as fun and welcoming for everyone.
