Game Development Society: President

I believe that games are currently the most prominent medium of entertainment, and I want UCL to be more creative in this arena. I am passionate about developing games and creating a collaborative environment where people can be inspired and be motivated by each other. I stand as president to create an environment where game enthusiasts can gather to make innovative projects, learn from each other, host events, and just socialize in general. My goal is to create a bigger game dev community than before in UCL, which aims to bring people together and bring game ideas to life.

I'm Shaye and I'm running for the President of the Game Development Society.

As a Workshop Officer of the Game Development Society this year, I organized weekly workshops and helped host the Global Game Jam at UCL. Having planned technical yet engaging events throughout the year, I learnt invaluable lessons on effective communication and team management; I hope to apply these skills across the varying responsibilities associated with being the President.
