I have been a member of the mighty Red Star 2s since term 1 of my first year at UCL, meaning I have put in my fair share of mudbath shifts at the Marshes, away days at Chislehurst, and lengthy sessions at the Botwell Inn. I have decided to put myself forward this year for 2s Vice-captain, grizzled veteran that I am, bringing some experience and wisdom to a fresh and youthful squad. Vice-captaining the best team at UCL's finest sporting institution would be an honour and a privilege (and given that I will be a postgrad I should have plenty of free time to actually book pitches and referees). Having witnessed our unfortunate cup exits at the quarter-final and semi-final stages in previous years, I simply have one goal: HELP LEAD THE 2S TO CUP GLORY. UTFRS!!!
