Candidates

Dillan Jaggernauth

As a devoted member of UCLFC, I would love to be a member of the committee to try leave a small legacy on the biggest club in the whole university. I have attended almost every social this year, even the ones just before reading week, so have seen and heard many peoples thoughts on socials and what they want to see and already have many ideas to keep everyone entertained on a Wednesday night. After attending a successful tour in Liverpool, where my team Only Friends clean swept both competitions with me saving 3 pens in the final, I'm ready for the international tour for some more unbelievable scenes. With FA-Chop Champion Nathaniel as my partner in this role we will work closely together to make sure the socials are unreal week-on-week.

Charlie Allcock

Not much to say, love the club, love drinking and a night out, great attendance at socials, trainings, matches and tours. Love to plan nights out. Would love to do it with my boy Micah but no worries if not. Led the 2’s to pub crawls time and time again which always goes down well. My appearances at Scala are consistent and I tend to not remember much of them - a great quality as social sec. First night in liverpool tour I didn’t remember and I hope to go back to back in Albufeira. I feel like my enjoyment of planning nights out and both mine and Micah’s - who I have seen walk about barefoot in pubs after 2 pints on the pub crawls - tendency to get involved, would be a devastating social sec partnership. I love the UC, would love to have more challenges for Freshers next year and I love the pub. I hope those of you that know me know that this role is meant for me and I think a very strong committee team can be formed next year - a lot of boys applying that I know including Joe for Treasury, Tino for 2s captain, Micah for social sec, Charlie wass I believe for something, Andrew James for president.

I’ll be devastated not to get this role.
It would be an honour to represent the UC as social secretary.

Nathaniel Knight-Robinson

I am standing as I am dedicated to the highest level to UCLFC and thus want to stand amongst the illustrious committee. As reigning FA Chop champion need i say more? My dedication to the social side of this club also led me to sleeping in a van in a city i have never been to before, getting back to hostel at 8am and then going out again the next night. Furthermore, even an experience like that didn't stop me going on the international tour as well which proves my commitment. Finally, I'd like to propose Dillan as my partner social sec as we can carry on the legacy of Kaiyan and Dolan through organising banging socials from the same flat.

Micah Pillai

I would die for the UC. I entered the club at the early age of 17 merely a boy, hailing from the beautiful North of Scotland. I was uncertain as to whether I would fit in the club and if I would belong. After weeks of matches, unforgettable team and joint socials, the greatest student night in London and endless jaegerbombs; I am proud to say that a few hairs have sprouted on my chest. My devotion to scala and socials are unrivalled, where only rejection due to drunkenness has kept me away. Socials where I’ve left stumbling, spewing or covered in flour have only emboldened my love for the club. UCLFC has led me across London from billingsgate market - where I bought my first shark - to Kingston upon Thames where my dime cross echoes in eternity. I will never regret more not standing alongside my comrades in Liverpool where I could have left with many a story to tell. Better yet though, the promise of the soft sands of Albufeira sings sweet where I am keen to create greater memories still. Now the uncertainty is all but gone and I am titillated by the prospect of taking this already legendary club to higher heights. To demonstrate my commitment I will be dedicating my 4/5 month summer to reducing my chop time. To further my aim I would recommend Charlie Allcock to accompany in this position as his commitment is phenomenal and I truly believe he shares my passion for the club. Up the UC.
