Football Club (Men's): 6th Team Captain

I have been the 6's captain for the past 4 months since being brought in halfway through this 24/25 season in November, and not only do I feel like I have grown into the role, but i feel as if the 6's have not looked back since I was appointed. Coming into the role of captaincy, I walked into a team that felt bloated, mistreated, and generally inferior compared to the other UCL men's teams, but over the last few months, the 6s have grown into a team that has fun, has built an actual team culture, have the desire to improve as a group and embrace the social side of UCLFC making friendships between each other along the way. Additionally, a team that desperately wants to and that has proven that it can win football matches. I have also helped the 6s build a social media presence and relationships with other teams and universities/societies, as well as having an actual training schedule involving tactical drills that address the weaknesses of the team. That has all been done in just 4 months through care and application, but also through a motivation to go out and be a successful football team. Think of what can be done over a full year in academic year 25/26. This upcoming season will be huge for the 6's, likely with many challenges to overcome. However, I wholeheartedly feel that I am the right man to continue the 6's upward trajectory and to challenge for silverware with this team, making it one of the proudest and most beloved teams that UCLFC have to offer.
