Football Club (Men's): 2nd Team Captain

I love the UC. And I love the 2s even fucking more. I turn up to every game I physically can, rain or shine and that should be the standard. Its not just football but every team social, early trips into empty Scala, and cannot forget the excursion to Billingsgate market (however painful that may have been). We really have a little culture cooking up, with a real spine forming and we need to keep it going. Hopefully with our dashing new social secs Michael and Charlie, we will have a real spirit and atmosphere introducing a weekly team social outside of the regular Wednesday one to keep the team bonding going. This may seem trivial but its these things that build team chemistry and grow rhe team - with a sense of comradery on the pitch which is so important. Onto the the series stuff - the football.  We are blessed with some very talented players and I can see a footballing vision forming. I suggest we play in a 4-4-3, moving the ball around quickly in the middle and distributing to the wingers who will hug the touchline, with attacking midfielders loading the box. In training we will be doing 7v7s to really get used to playing with each other. Obviously this season we have had a very mixed turnout to games, barely scraping 11 at times. There won’t be space in the squad for half-heartedness - we need commitment - those who dont turn up or commit wont have a place. 
I hope everyone is excited for next season because I can’t fucking wait. Love you boys - bleed purple.💜
