Financial Literacy Matters Society: Treasurer

Dear Members of the Financial Literacy Society,

I am excited to apply for the Treasurer position as I am deeply passionate about financial learning and eager to develop my skills in financial management. As a student of Medical Innovation and Enterprise, I have gained exposure to key business and financial principles, and I’m eager to apply this knowledge to effectively manage the finances of the Financial Literacy Society.

Through my experiences as a maths tutor and academic representative, I’ve honed strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a solid work ethic. These roles have taught me how to manage responsibilities efficiently, communicate effectively, and stay organized—skills that are essential for ensuring accurate financial records, preparing event budgets, and overseeing financial transactions for the society.

If elected, I will prioritize maintaining transparency in the society's finances, developing realistic budgets for upcoming events, and seeking out new funding opportunities to support the society’s initiatives. I am excited about the chance to contribute to the growth of the Financial Literacy Society and deepen my understanding of financial management through this hands-on role.
